The newest version of Forkly is now available to download! Forkly 2.3 includes a series of updates to help you share more of your posts with family and friends and to assist you with taking the best food photos possible in darker establishments.
✓ Great photos in Low-light. On the iPhone 5 we now support the same low-light mode as the native Camera app
✓ Easier to share! We’ve added Facebook Timeline
✓ Newly added intro screens
✓ Bug fixes and performance improvements
Below are some of the details…
New Introduction Screen
As the Forkly app develops, we want you to be able to use it to the fullest! The new intro screens let you know how to do just this–and still leaves some playing around up to you, too. Plus, when you tell your friends to download Forkly, they get a quick tutorial on how to rate, want, and discover new dishes (as opposed to asking you, who’s in the middle of savoring a delicious donut!).

Facebook Timeline
Once you add Forkly to your Facebook timeline, your Forkly posts will be visible to your Facebook friends. This makes it easier to share all your food adventures–that is, if you were going to recommend a dish or drink to friends or family members, it’s already done! You can always control your Facebook sharing in Settings on Forkly.

Low-Light Mode
For those with the iPhone 5, we now support the same low-light mode as the native Camera app. This means that when you’re in a darker restaurant or bar, you’ll notice a significant difference in your Forkly food and drink shots. Take a look at the test we did when the new iPhone 5 came out. Impressive, right!?
Forkly 2.3 can be downloaded for free from Apple’s app store (or just updated on your phone). As always, feel free to contact us with questions and feedback. Enjoy!
