Forkly For a Cause: Kempe Foundation’s Salt on the Rim

20 Jul

The Kempe Center is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year and attendance will help ensure healing and hope for abused and neglected children for another 40 years!

Every summer, Denver’s Kempe Foundation Alliance hosts a huge bash to raise money for The Kempe Foundation and Kempe Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Child Abuse and Neglect. This year, “Salt on the Rim” (if you’re a margarita lover, this one’s for you!) will be at the beautiful Denver Botanic Gardens on Friday, July 27 at 5:30pm. More info below and RSVP here.

And much to our delight, the Alliance’s co-chairs, Paul Heitzenrater & John Farnam, as well as the participating restaurants are avid Forkly users & frequented venues. Confirmed restaurants thus far: Piatti, Japoix, Chinooks Tavern, Brio Tuscan Grille, Mezcal, Sam’s #3, The Edge at Four Seasons Hotel, Lifestyles Catering, The Palm, Zink, Trinity Fine Wines, Lime, The Sheraton Downtown, The Food Guy, and Twisted Pine Brewing Co.

Individual tickets are $100 or $75 for young professionals, 39 or younger…and they are still available. We hope you’ll all attend this wonderful event and spread the word–and be sure to Forkly the best Margaritas from the Margarita Challenge and some of the best dishes of the night too!

Enjoy the festivities and Forkly for a cause!
