Fun Around Town for Pops & the Fam

Taste of Orange County Culinary Festival, Sat June 16 (21+ only) & Sun June 17 (all ages): And for Father’s Day, Dads get in for free! 30+ Orange County restaurants will be providing dishes, chef demos, wine & beer tastings, and more!

Real Men Cook for Charity: Multi-city fundraiser to celebrate fathers & father figures around the world. “Founded in 1990, this annual event is held each Father’s Day in cities throughout the U.S., which began the tradition of men cooking together for a cause.” This year, your family can participate in Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, NY, Philadelphia, Detroit, Queens, Miami, LA, St Louis, or Las Vegas!

Rock & Brews 2nd Annual Local Craft Beer Festival, Sun June 17, 11am-4pm: “Enjoy the fresh and unique beers from local breweries…We have brought together the best local breweries in Southern California representing LA, Orange, Ventura, and Riverside Coounties. Limited, seasonal, and special beers available.”

Father’s Day Cheese & Beer, Sat June 16, 5pm-7pm: Hosted by The Cheese School of San Francisco, enjoy beer & cheese pairings and a lesson in both taught by former CIA Greystone instructor Andy Wild.

DADS and JAZZ, Sun June 17 2pm-6pm: Enjoy live jazz, food, drinks, and a tour of the mansion with the entire extended family in a charming setting– the Dunsmuir Hellman Historic Estate in Oakland, CA. Program features some of Oakland’s most talented and versatile jazz artists including: Fullhouse Band featuring Georgia Freeman; Destiny Trio; and Daria Nile and Band.

Father’s Day Saturday at Sandhill Crane Vineyards in Michigan, Sat June 16 11am-6pm: Wine tastings, picnic on the lawn (can grab food from their cafe too), listen to live bluegrass music,  check out some Dad-gifts and relax with family & friends.

Lemon Creek Winery’s 28th Annual Father’s Day Festival, Sun June 17 noon-6pm: Michigan’s longest running wine festival! Wine tastings, hayrides, classic Corvettes, live oldies music, Outdoor Kitchen (bring chairs & blankets!) and more.

33rd Annual Quechee Hot Air Balloon Craft and Music Festival, June 15, 16 & 17: Featuring Music, Fine Art, and Crafters at Quechee Inn at Marshland Farm in Vermont–and most importantly for a memorable Father’s Day, 20+ hot air balloons (check flight times in advance)! On Sunday, Dads accompanied by a child get half-price admission.

Father’s Day Brunch at Green Pastures Restaurant, Sun June 17: Indulge with the family at this stunning Victorian home–and Austin’s “Grand Dame of restaurants.” Brunch is $50 per person and includes an incredible array of dishes–as well as their Chocolate Milk punch, made only one day the whole year!
