Wishing You Love & World Peas for the Holiday Season

19 Dec

We can’t believe Christmas and the New Year are right around the corner! But I guess we say that every year…In any case, we are definitely ready for some holiday feasts.

Here is a little taste of what to look forward to for the last few weeks of this holiday season. Time to deck the halls with mashed potatoes and turkey (oh man, a very messy image just came to mind)!

Don’t forget to Forkly your holiday dishes, desserts, and drinks! We know you and yours have your own holiday-cooking-traditions and we love to see them!

Happy Holidays!

    Merry Christmas!!

    I love the new update!
I have a suggestion. Why doesn’t forkly use SinglePlatform (http://www.singleplatform.com/publishers/) to fill in restaurant menus on forkly?

One of the tiresome issues with forkly is filling in a dish name, or trying to remember the name from last night, or people making up a name or misspelling it, which leads to duplicates in the menu. Using SinglePlatform removes this issue as it provides a full updated version of the menu for many restaurants.
Many big names are already using SinglePlatform like YellowPages, the NYT, and foursquare.

    Forkly should definitely consider this.
It will make sharing easier. And it will give forkly a more professional look with a full updated menu, rather the current lacking menu which has duplicates sometimes.

Thanks for the feedback! We’re looking into solutions similar to SinglePlatform… so hopefully we’ll get some of those issues resolved soon enough. It’s on the road map, in any case! Keep the feedback coming–and Happy New Year!
